About Bob
Bob Legge is the president of Legge & Company LLC. He helps companies improve profits and increase individual and organization performance. His clients have included such companies as Wrigley Chewing Gum, Wilson Sporting Goods, United Airlines, Mutual of Omaha, Paychex, Rochester Gas and Electric, Valeo, Rich Products, American Hospitals Association, among others.
Bob began his career with a global consulting firm in Chicago and has held senior executive positions in manufacturing, broadband and financial services companies. He was part of the executive turnaround team that led Adelphia Communications through its bankruptcy.
Bob is widely quoted and published in magazines, newspapers and websites. His work has appeared on-line at Forbes.com, B/NET, and Human Resource Executive On-Line among others. His professional speaking engagements have included Public Broadcasting Service Annual Conference, New York State Financial Administrators Conference, Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies Annual Conference, and at numerous universities including The University of Rochester, Fordham University and has been on the adjunct faculty of Rochester Institute of Technology. Bob authored a book, Reinventing the HR Function, for AMACOM Publishing, and was recognized with The Award of Professional Excellence from the Society of Human Resource Management.
He serves on the boards of Electri-Cord Manufacturing Company, McKenzie Institute U.S.A., and the National Kidney Foundation Serving Upstate New York. He is a member of the Wall Street Journal's Opinion Leaders Research Panel. Past board involvement has included Hillside Children's Center, Career Development Services, Rochester Business Education Alliance, Rochester Jobs, Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency, The United Way, and RIT's Training and Professional Development Advisory Board.
He received an M.B.A and an M.A. Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
