About Bob Legge
Bob helps clients improve profits per employee by maximizing their return on
investment in people.
Since founding Legge & Company in 1997,
Bob has helped clients implement organizational strategies that drive growth
and success while improving employee engagement, productivity and
efficiency. He has a strong track record of leading change initiatives
and working with top teams on strategy, structure, people and process
improvements. Bob helps to drive, rather than just support, business
success.
Bob has served as a Senior Vice President at the fifth
largest broadband provider, a $3 billion financial services company, and an
international consumer goods manufacturer. He also has over 15 years
consulting experience with clients across a broad range of industries
including financial services, manufacturing, broadband, utilities,
education, government and nonprofits. He has provided a wealth of
experience and knowledge to all size organizations including Fortune 500,
mid-market and start-ups.
Bob earned an M.B.A. as well as an M.A. in Communications from the University of
Wisconsin. He began his professional career as a consultant with a
large international consulting firm based in Chicago. He received the Award of
Professional Excellence from the Society of Human Resource Management. Bob
serves on the boards of Electri-Cord Manufacturing Company and the National
Kidney Foundation of Upstate New York. Past board positions have
included Career
Development Services, Rochester Business Education Alliance, Rochester Jobs
(President), and Hillside
Children's Center. He is a member of The Human Resource Planning Society,
The Society for Human Resource Management, World at Work and the Wall Street
Journal's Opinion Leaders Research Panel. Bob has
lectured at the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology,
Nazareth College and Fordham University.
